heh. the only thing that caught my eye.. ‘planning to give laptops to children everywhere’. aewsome. children means teens too right? or just in that particular area?

Great ideas incorporated, like a believable carry handle – starting with the first “portable” computers (I think they weighed 20-30 pounds – but they had a handle!) I have never seen a handle I’d trust – always gone with a carry system or case with strap.

Too bad they won’t sell it. Probably getting parts with a contractual clause they won’t be sold for US use.

Handcranked laptops?! That’s really really really cool! Sure it’d be inconvenient at times, but you could manually ‘recharge your battery’ whenever you like! I’d totally go for something like that… except that the computer itself doesn’t interest me.
