Left handed chequebooks

September 11th, 2005 by Marc in Miscellaneous Gadgets

The post about the left handed pen recently got me to thinking about a service that some banks here in the UK offer but don’t go out of their way to advertise: Left handed chequebooks (checkbooks for our US readers).

It’s a simple idea, they just put the binding on the right hand side of the book instead of the left so that you can open it, write cheques (checks) and get to the stub comfortably.

So if you’re a fellow southpaw, ask your bank about it. It’s just one of those small things that goes towards making life a little bit easier.
