One of the coolest gadgets I have seen is a GPS. These are great for all those guys that hate to stop and ask for directions and try to use their male senses to find their way around. Now, they can even have a GPS system that is voice activated, turn by turn. The Magellan Roadmate 700 Portable GPS is easy and affordable to add excellent-quality, talking color GPS to any vehicle you own.

The Magellan RoadMate 700 Portable GPS offers a 10GB hard drive that has all major city streets and roads for the United States and most of Canada. You will be able to select the shortest route by time, shortest distance, fewest freeways, or if you prefer mostly freeways. The auto re-route will even determine the best new route if you accidentally miss a turnoff.

The high resolution touch screen LCD will adjust to surrounding light so your image will always be clear. The Magellan RoadMate 700 Portable GPS is so easy to use. You will not have to download anything it is ready as soon as you take it out of its box. The WAAS or Wide Area Augmentation System will receive signals from 12 satellites that will pinpoint your exact location to within three meters.

You will also receive turn by turn guidance with the TrueViewr 3D screen. It will show each turn as they are coming up while a voice prompt that is very clear will also convey the information.

The database of the Magellan RoadMate 700 Portable GPS includes 2 million points of interest which also allows you to search for the closest gas stations, restaurants, hotels, ATMs and plenty more awesome and interesting places. It is only 6 ½ inches by 1 ¾ inches by 3 ¼ and weights around 14 ounces. The price is unbelievable at $999, when you remember you will never be lost or have to ask for directions every again.
